In her interview with CBS' Katie Couric, Palin said: "As for homosexuality, I am not going to judge Americans and the decisions that they make in their adult personal relationships. I have...one of my best friends for the last 30 years happens to be gay and I love her dearly. She's not my gay friend, she is one of my best friends who happens to have made a choice that isn't a choice that I have made. But I'm not going to judge people."

2. The real choice

Sarah, the choice your "dearest" friend made was to clue you in to the fact that she's a dyke. And she probably alerted you because she doesn't believe in living a lie, not because she wanted to be honest only with you. I guarantee that your gay friend is out to everyone she knows. The choice isn't about being gay, it's about being honest and being able to be honest.

Yea thats it. It was a choice to be gay when I was 3 years old and playing with my sisters dolls and make up and having tea parties with her and her friends and always wanted to hang out with the girls never with my older brother when i didn't even know anything to do with sexuality until i was 11 and realized i wasn't like everyone else in my small little hick town. Could this broad be anymore stupid than she has already has demonstrated, Appearantly so....Ignorance is bliss, stupid breeds stupidity :grin

Well, she might as well throw in the towel now, she is not for gay marriage, and she thinks being gay is a choice. Did she decide to be heterosexual? Marriage can be two people who love each other, regardless of what the catholic church teaches.
