Cage Fight Turns Gay and Steamy

Bruno and (not related) cage fight

Arkansas cage fight fans got more than they bargained for when the fighters started kissing and ripping off each others clothes during a fighting event last month - a stunt suspected to have been orchestrated by Sacha Baron Cohen for his new "Bruno" movie.

"We had a contract for cage fighting. We were deceived," said Dwight Duncan, president and CEO of Four States Fair Grounds in Texarkana.

More than 1,600 spectators who attended the "Blue Collar Brawlin" event had been told that a character named "Straight Dave" would goad a planted audience member into the ring for a fight. Instead the two fighters - expected to have been actors - stripped down to their underwear and started kissing and "rubbing one another."

The audience, as well as local fighters, became enraged. "It set the crowd off lobbing beers," Fort Smith police Sgt. Adam Holland said. "They had beers in plastic cups. Those things can get some distance on them actually."

After the stunt, the two actors sprinted away through a specially set-aside tunnel, while officers cleared the establishment.

Spectators were required to sign waivers before they were allowed entrance to the event and several signs on display told them that they were being filmed.

Here's the poster for the actual event:
