on 06-25-2008 00:53

Actor Neil Patrick Harris - or rather his TV doctor alter ego Doogie Howser - wants to protect you from body odor and endorses Old Spice antiperspirant in an ad in this month's GQ.

In the print ad, the openly gay actor references back to his days has child TV doctor Doogie Howser, and says: "Body odor protection recommended by former TV doctors, like me."

It also reads, in the small print, "Take it from me, I used to be a fake doctor."
