Shia LaBeouf Apologizes For Anti-Gay Slur

on 06-12-2008 13:34

Shia LaBeouf's representative says the Indiana Jones star is "very embarrassed" about a video posted on YouTube showing LaBeouf in a slapping contest with a friend where the actor hurls anti-gay slurs to encourage his friend to slap him.

The video - which circulated around the Internet on Monday but has since been taken off YouTube - was recorded several years ago, LaBeouf's rep told E! online.

In it, LaBeouf appears to be at a house party where, in an attempt to entice his friend into a slapping contest, the star calls the friend a “f----t” multiple times.

"He regrets having used the word in any capacity and is very embarrassed that this footage is being seen by anyone," the rep said.

This isn't the first controversy for LaBeouf. Last year, LaBeouf was arrested in Chicago after refusing to leave a Walgreen's store. He faced charges of misdemeanor criminal, which were later dropped.

Ok people. Get together and get him ostracized. You did it to Isaih Washington so its only fair to put him on the chopping block. Don't be hypocritical because he is younger.
