Sally Kern Has a Gay Son?

The Internet is abuzz with rumors that homophobic Oklahoma lawmaker Sally Kern, who was caught on tape saying that gays are "a worse threat to the US than terrorists or Islam," has a gay son.

According to yet unnamed sources, one of Kern's sons, Jesse, is a homosexual, and Kern has disowned him because of his sexuality.

Kern has been asked to apologize for her homophobic remarks, but has chosen to vigorously stand by her hurtful speech.

During her talk show Wednesday, lesbian talk show host Ellen DeGeneres tried to reach the anti-gay lawmaker on the phone for a comment. Unfortunately, Kern was not available and her mailbox was full.

Dear Ellen,
All that Sally Kern did, was to vocalize what is on the minds of the majority of United States citizens. Using your star status to mock her only reinforces what she said. Homosexuality is a mental disorder. All you have to do is recognize the physiology of males and females to figure that out. And also, you're not funny, you can't dance, but your show does something for all of us that your not able to do, "it sucks"!

Let's not bash Ellen! She like me and many other gay AND straight people are offended that Kerns could even compare Homosexuals with terrorists! I am more than offended I am ashamed that a human being could even say such a thing. By the way, Ellen wouldn't have made it this far if she wasn't funny!!

You have no statistics to backup the majority of Americans comment. (At least no recent statistics.) Also, the APA (the real psychologists) say that being gay is not a disorder. Oh, and on top of that, God's green Earth provides plenty of proof that homosexuality is natural. Just look at lions, monkeys, or several other mammals in some depth. Your rude comments, poor grammar, and inaccurate statements very poorly represent your point of view. I hope that you take the time to research how completely natural homosexuality is, and how wrong the fundamentalist extremists really are.

Using her status to mock her? Sally is using her status to try and take rights away from certain groups of people. She began her speech by saying that not all lifestyles are equal and not all RELIGIONS are equal. She's not just against homosexuals. It's obvious that she is the one with an agenda...to move towards a theocracy.
