Cynthia Nixon: I Love My Wife

on 03-06-2008 14:30

"Sex and the City" star Cynthia Nixon talks to OK! magazine about her love for lesbian partner Christine Marinoni and on how having positive gay role models in her family helped her children accept their relationship.Cynthia and Christine

"I'm in a fantastic relationship. It's been about four years," Nixon said.

"I'm in love with [Christine] because she's her. If she were a man, would I be in love with her? I don't know. We shop and cook and raise children - we both pitch in."

Nixon says her children didn't have any problems with her coming out as a lesbian:

"They were fine. My son was very little [when it happened], but my daughter has a gay uncle [and her godmothers] are lesbians."

Nixon and Marinoni started dating in 2003 after she separated from her boyfriend of 15 years, Danny Mozes, who is the father of her two children, Samantha, 11, and Charles, 6.

I don't believe it.
I think Nixon is a knock out.
I'd go out with her any time.
