Rumors of a romance between recently out gay Australian celebrities Tim Campbell and Anthony Callea have been circulating for quite a while and now the guys have finally confirmed that they are a couple.

Ex-Home and Away actor Campbell made it official that he his dating former Australian Idol winner Anthony Callea during a radio interview Tuesday.

"There was stuff written in the paper a while ago . . . and actually Anthony and I are a bit of an item at the moment," Campbell said.

"The question was asked a while ago and we weren't, but we have gotten to a point where we are very happy together."
