This is the hard part, mate. If you can just hold on it gets better.
This line of reasoning helped me:-
Most of us are the children of couples who identify as heterosexual. The causes that shape our sexuality are genetic, or learned or a combination. If genetic, then the genetic material was transmitted to us through our 'heterosexual' parents and can no more be changed than our height or race or colouring. If learned, then it was a product of the environment that they provided for us, or failed to provide, during our formative years. We need not assume responsibility for our parents self-loathing. You can't choose your family but you can choose your friends, and there are millions of us ready to support you. You're perfect just the way you are.
