Good for him. I always liked him and nothing has changed my opinion. Hope his BF is just as cute as he is.

I agree...good for Doogie. However, regarding Anderson Cooper (who is very hot) I don't think that talking to someone in shorts with an earring is any indication of being gay.

I supoose from what I have seen on the Boards and in Bgay chatroom,
I seem to be in the minority that isn't impressed by who is and who isn't gay...Why should it matter ? I never felt that somehow if a famous person is gay that for some reason I would feel validated...Sometimes I go to the room and watch guys carry on about this one is hot and that one is hot...This one is gay and that was is sooooo gay...Bgay should have a special room.... Maybe name it " The Teenie Bopper Slumber Party Room "
And listen...I don't want to hear any tacky crap from anyone...Remember, the first amendment is still intact...And no, I am not jaded, I just am super comfortable in my gay skin...Try it sometime, you might like it...Keep it real...And ? There are times when the fact that I am gay doesn't ever occur to me...Sometimes, I am just a human being, nothing more and nothing less...
Try that sometimes too...

I was wondering about Tony's posting regarding free speech and the 1st amendment. How does all that 1st amendment stuff apply on the internet? Where is this server located, and does geographic location apply? I'm Canadian, and not everyone logging on is American. Just a thought.

Am interesting in "chat" with other clergy of any denomination or confession... particularly the "sometimes problems" that surface from being both a gay man and a clergyman.

I'm so glad that there are those in the up and coming Homo world who resent the "Gay" word. It has been a real bummer for me all my life. And I have liked other men all my life. There are not too many words out there to describe US , but, I think I prefer Homosexual , third sex or theban guy to the word gay. When I think of gay , men into girls comes to mind. They are mostly identified with women. Believe me I come from San Francisco in the 1960's and I can remember the word 1000 gay and getting stronger , written on the Library wall and wondered why the word gay??? The gay pride thing is nothing but a drag show and the breeders just laugh at us. The only thing good about it is the straight acting men are not easy to define in their breeder-mind-set. , homo or breeder is more to my liking. So I tend to have in-the-closet friends and straight male friends. Its ok if they thin you are gay , but, the word think is not knowing. The gay Parade of Pride needs to butch-it-up and start waving fists in the air instead of Boas...yaaah 69

Sorry, but I think the term homosexual is way too clinical and stuffy...

Gay is distinguished from homosexual primarily by the emphasis it places on the cultural and social aspects of homosexuality as opposed to sexual practice.

The actual definition of gay would be lighthearted, carefree and happy...Only unhappy "homosexuals" would prefer "homosexual" Lighten up...
I have met guys of all ages from teens to guys in their 60's and never once heard anyone say that they took exception to the word gay...
