In your opinion, who has done most for the gay community: Rosie O'Donnell or Ellen DeGeneres?

I would have to say it would be Ellen, she has done many things for the gay community ( without yelling, fighting, and looking like a overbearing gay like Rosie always seems to be these days.) Rosie seemed nice on here own show , but since then she has become too rude even about the smallest issues. i.e Trump

Hands down Ellen is so much better in every way shape or form! I have had the opportunity to work with both of them, and Ellen is the nicest person on the planet. She is kind and considerate and without a doubt a 1000% better looking.

I worked with Ellen on a AIDS fund raiser at Hyatt on Sunset "pre being out" and one would have to live under a rock to not know she is gay. Way back when she first appeared on the Tonight Show with Johnny Carson she was wearing very stylish men's attire.

Rosie is the A-Typical overbearing Butch Dyke! Rosie is rude and demanding and very difficult to work with! [More difficult than Martha Stewart! who is a 100% total BITCH! to her staff.] I also worked with Rosie on a AIDS fund raiser in Bel Aire back when she lived here in L.A. Her assistant, her sister, is treated like dirt! Rosie let's it be clearly understood SHE is the one in charge! Rosie is very rude and abrasive. Not a nice person at all!

That's my 2 cents worth.

And The Donald could buy and sell her 30 times over!

Ellen is a class act. She stands for what she believes in without putting anyone down. Rosie is giving the gay community a black eye everytime she opens her mouth. I used to think she was funny, but I got over that really quickly.

Why are people so full of hate and so quick to judge. I'm not a fan of hers, but I can't imagine what could cause such meanness in most of you. Are you a group of disenchanted pussies with little wisdom and less maturity who choose to rant on forums ? Or have you all gotten a little meaner. It's a mystery to me.
Interesting how threatening Rosie is to all of you Rosie-haters. I guess it's scary to be confronted with TRUTH. She's brave enough to say what she thinks
I have to laugh at people who trash Rosie.. its like they HAVE keep track of every thing she says and . other wise how do they know what she is saying and doing.. they do the same thing on her blog..no one forces them to pay attention to her..

Ellen can be a bit too sweet but Rosie is just down right mean. It is one thing to stand up for what you believe in and it is yet another to be down right nasty. I used to love Rosie and watch her show when it first aired. Then she came out and her whole personality changed. That show ended, then I watched her on the "View" one day and she acted as though it was her show and her show alone. No matter the subject, only she was allowed to say anything or say what she felt about it and she talked over anyone else who felt differently, not giving anyone else a chance to speak. Ellen has fun on her show. Rosie has a chip on her shoulder and steps on too many toes and acts as though she can do and say what she wants without any reprocussions for her actions.
The public already has a stigma against gays as it is and Rosie is not helping it any by coming off as bitter and hateful with a grudge against the whole world. On the other hand Ellen comes off as funny, caring and sensitive...a positive role model. That is what we, the gay community needs more of, positive role models. Not a mean spirited, loud mouthed bully who has no room what so ever to be pointing fingers at anyone. :)
