This publication would be well served to give a listing of every person in Congress would did NOT vote for this bill. Give all of their contact info, Names, addresses, phones, faxes, and email addresses, and ask their constituents to level a campaign of letters, phone calls, faxes and emails to those Members to urge them to over ride the Presidents intended Veto! There are enough gay or gay friendly votes in the USA that "we" could have whatever we wanted if "we" could all get behind the same ideas! WIN the little skirmishes, and the Wars will follow. Win things like hate crime bills, and be OK with Legal Gay Partnerships, and not worry about the word "Marriage". We can have our way if we are willing to be a little bit more giving on 'words'. If we write/fax/call/email these Members and let them know that we are indeed watching them very closely, they will pay attention! Marching on Washington did not get us much, except some not so great publicity. BUT the voting booth gets a politicians attention very quickly. If you do not get what you want from them, then it is very simple, openly campaign against them, vote them out of office, immediately!
Complain to the Members of Congress about the pull out of troops in Iraq. We might just be able to garner enough votes to over ride that Presidential Veto!
Speak Up Gay America, Speak Up! Let your position be known to the Members of Congress. They likes their jobs a great deal more than they like the 'Lame Duck' President!

As I write this there is a poll on vote.com, concerning the Hate crime bill. The 'vote' is for people to give their opinion as to whether the president should or should not veto the hate crime bill. So far we are losing.
I urge all people to go to vote.com and register to vote, and then vote. Currently people are voting that the prez veto the bill because they don't want more goverment in our lives. They're saying that the states have their own hate crime bills and that the government has no business forcing the states to deal with this type of crime. Because 'ALL', the states do not have hate crime bills, we need to urge the prez to sign this bill in to law!
Vote.com sends their results to the White House so that maybe, just maybe, we can sway this homophobic prez to realize that we really do exsist, and are intelligent enough to try to have a word in American government.
Please, please, please, go to vote.com and make the the government aware that there are more of us out here than they thought. Yes, I voted for the man and I'm not proud of it. This man has made a LOT of bad decisions and I am not happy with them, but we still have deal with him for another year and a half.
One more time, please try to help our cause by going to vote.com, and vote for the Federal Hate Crime Bill.

Of course Shrubbie will refuse to sign the bill, Republicans, and Shrub in particular, don't give a damned for anyone not conservative religious. Rights and the individual be damned. This is the reason Republicans lost the House and Senate and will soon be out of the White House and more Senate seats as well.
