The role of Alan Strang is a great part for this young man who has to get away from Harry Potter sooner or later. I am disappointed by parents who are expressing distaste at the photographs. It is mainly ignorance that promotes such response. They should read, understand and go to see the play before expressing such comments that could affect the actor's future.

I have been a big fan since the first harry potter books and films, Mr Radcliffe has already established he's a good performer, going to be greater as he goes along in his choices, not many can say that or do that. I am a fan of his, and I wish him well. I hope to see more of his work and craft. I was lucky to see some of the reditions of Eqqius including the one other favorite actor I just thought was going a long way in his carreer and he also had chose other styles of showing his acting ability. We shoud be proud of Daniel his parents guided him in so much love and his desires to get into the acting world.
to also note: he is one very good looking man who will be even more as he ages. I think in time. One day Daniel that you have a fan following for long and many years. Whether you see this, or if someone reads it for you.
I just wanted to say thanks for being our latest thrill in the world of magic movie making. I am in the states and well though we sprang up from the oceans of England.,France.,Poland from where my family started from I am still an excited person to what old magic of the lands still might hold even now in the 21st century.

I have been a very big fan of Daniel Radcliffe and have watched him since he was in the movie "The Tailor of Panama". I have watched this young man grow, as an actor, since his appearance in that movie. I not only have every book of Harry Potter, I have every movie as well. I've watched this young man through every movie and grow with each production of the series. I have to agree, he is growing into one very good looking young man and as he gets older he will get even more good looking. I don't get the hot's for young boys or anything like that, as Daniel is old enough to be one of my children. However, he is going to break a lot of hearts as he gets older.

How many people have seen the movie? Rent it. It is truly amazing. Look forward to seeing the play, it will be interesting to see how it is portrayed.

"I watched this film several times as a teenager. It meant a lot to me and altered many of the concrete ideas I was trying to understand. Its a shame this film is not more widely available and better known. Its filled with brilliant performances and a shattering script by Peter Schaffer.

It is hard not to be shaken and stirred by the ideas of this film/play. It is a powerful indictment of the complexity of the human mind and the limits of science in attempting to translate, understand and reform the wild and fantastic reaches of human consciousness. It is a film with so many subtexts and ideas about the human mind - it encompasses questions of religion, psychiatry, dreams, forbidden sexuality, fantasy, taboos, psychology, youth and history. Well, these are the most crucial in the films narrative.

Equus tells the story of a adolescent's counselling after he commits a violent, extreme crime. Alan Strang (Peter Firth) has been interned under the guidance of Martin Dysart (Richard Burton) to work through the issues surrounding his actions. Alan is clearly disturbed and withdrawn but the devastating secrets he bears threaten not merely his own family but Dysart's own sense of self and truth. And audiences too.

Its a film noted for its male nudity - which is quite notable - but its the swirling, subversive ideas which spring forth from this film which make it even more challenging and provocative. An important, intelligent film."

See it to believe it. In my opinion one of Richard Burton's greatest movies along with "Virginia Woolfe" Probably one of the best actors EVER!
