I cam out like 4 yrs ago and being only 23 at the time it was hard but now that I have came out me and my father are like the best of friends and I just love it...

I came out to my family when I was 16 years old!!! Before I came out I was the miserablest person in world. I've been out of the closet for 8 years now and I love who I am and DAMN proud to be gay!!!!!!!!!!! I've learned over the past 8 years how and when to deal with things! When I turned 18 I began counselling Gay youth, teens, and some adults. I gave advice based on my experiences and the people I counseled loved it because it was more personal. I think that coming out makes you a stronger person. I know I became stronger because I standup for what I believe in!!!! I don't take no bs from any one like I used too!!!!!!
