Problems with Chatroom

Here is an update on what is happening with the BGay Chat:

We are still working on getting the chat online after a hacker managed to enter our chat administration software yesterday, closing off the chat for other people, including us here at Bgay.com. We hope to be able to launch an upgraded and more secure chat tomorrow. Stay tuned!

Guys my only hope is that when Bgay does return we can ALL let bygones be bygones and make bgay a pleasant place to communicate once again. God knows we have a tough time in this world just being gay without us all turning against one another in a chatroom. Just my opinion, something to think about I guess. Just don't understand the hate that is within Bgay at the moment.

---- I enjoy the room but only a few in it! There r way to many guys in there around 6:30 thru 8pm that make the room a total wreck! I must say I don't get along w/ some/ most guys cuz they lie.Please make it clear that underaged kids are not to be in the room.

On a related matter. U would think the webmaster might answer emails. Whats the point of providing an email address and instructions regarding contact. If they are never answered.

If he is swamped by emails. Well tell us in the forums.

Friday evening was nutso in mens chatroom. The name stealer was having a great time. He must have cloned three if not four names at a time. Mine seemed very popular. And it didnt matter if u changed it ... it was pointless. I gave up.

No point in emailing anyone. I emailed him two days ago. And six months ago. Never acknowledged. They dont care. So I dont care either.

So its the rule of the jungle.

When you are being cloned, your name packet has been taken and is being edited to make it as you are saying those things. Changing your name or your icon will not affect it at all. The only way to break the link is to logout and log back in.

Once you speak on the main screen, you can have your name taken. Because that is where the packets are being recorded. So if you see that a 'name stealer' is there, just use Private Messaging for a while.
