The male erotic fiction artist known as Beau is originally a landscape painter and uses popular culture, advertising, film and religious imagery in his depiction of unhibited erotic desire.
His work has appeared in hundreds of issues of men's erotic magazines, such as Advocate Men, Freshmen, and Torso.
Beau, a very attractive and wealthy man in his 50's, brings a lusty sensibility to life in his oil paintings.
"I always work with pop culture, which is why Beau is so amusing to me," the artist says. "I find a lot of humor in Beau that I don't think most people do."
"One of the great things about Beau, for me personally and hopefully for the viwer, is that there's a real bang for the buck. I have to be totally turned on when I paint it, and I hope that the man who views it is really aroused as well."
