I am a gay man from Australia. I came out to a gay woman at my work 2 weeks ago. Now noone at work will talk to me or have lunch or sit with me. Can you tell me what to do and should I have told the gay woman? There is another gay man at my work. He and I are good friends but he gets the same thing. Can you help me with this please.

 

If there is a lesbian and another gay guy, chances are, people at your job are pretty open minded.  You may be feeling guilty that you told someone about you and you are probably over reacting.  The key here is to continue your life as you always have. After all, it is not like you killed someone. You just happen to like the same sex. Not a big deal. So don't make it bigger than what it is.  Enjoy being yourself so others can enjoy the real you.
