There is no such a thing as not being embarrassed when you make the first move.  You will always have a chance of being rejected or accepted.  With practice, it will be easier. But it will take a lot of rejections before you can get used to it.  Why do it then? because you increase the chances of meeting people if you make the first move. You see, everybody is afraid of rejection.  You are not the only one. Even the hottest guys are afraid.    One thing to remember is that before you approach someone, try to get close to that person and try to get eye contact. That will give you an idea whether he likes you or not.  Always remember, even if you approach someone and get rejected, you will be making his day.  He will be happy that someone got the courage to talk to him so he must be good looking.  You see, it is all in your mind.  If you think positive, you will always win.  Good luck!
