Dear Max
 By Max  Salazar

I'm a 22 year old aspiring male model. I have done few local fashion shows, and a couple local commercials. I was approached a few months ago by a photographer offering to help me put my portfolio together. I met up with him a few times to take pictures.

Things went great. I have never been ashamed of my sexuality, and I could feel the vibes from the photographer. Needless to say, we hooked up after one of our shoots. I chalked it up to a one nightstand, nothing more. Now he's wanting more than just the night we spent together. He's actually pressuring me into more sex, and I'm just not into him like that.

Last night, I talked with him and tried to explain to him I was not interested in him like that. He got so upset. I was ready to leave when I saw how angry he became, but he told me he wanted to show me something. Can you believe he actually videoed the two of us having sex without my knowledge or consent?

He told me if I wanted to make it as a model, I was going to have to pay my dues. He went as far as saying that I was his only ticket to become a model, and that he could make or break me. He told he that I had one week to make up my mind about meeting up with him for sex again, or he was going to show the tape to my family and friends.

Like I said, I'm not ashamed of my sexuality, but I don't flaunt it right out in the open. My family has been very supportive of my lifestyle, and I would not want to bring shame on them if a video of me having sex were to get out.

Do you think I should go ahead and give in to this guy, or should I call his bluff? Do you think I should tell my parents about what's happened, just in case he does show the video, so as to prepare them?

You need to get away from this guy. If he video taped you without your consent and he is blackmailing you right away, then what can you expect next? Don't give in and just get away.

You don't need to tell your family yet as you don't know for sure that he will show the tape to them. Let's hope he doesn't, but if he does, then you can explain to your family the whole situation and I am sure they will understand.

Blackmailing is a serious offense and he can go to jail for that. Video taping without your consent is also against the law. So if he keeps threatening you, seek the advise of a police officer or an attorney to see what you can do to protect yourself from this scary person.

Good luck!
