Hi Max. My 11 year old son has told me his foreskin is tight and painful when he masturbates. I am worried he will have to be circumcised like I was with the same problem.  Is there anything else we can do other than circumcising him? Please help us.

 

Please take your son to a doctor so he or she can determine whether or not he needs to be circumcised.   If you went through the same thing, you should know that circumcision is a small procedure that may improve the penis function since his skin is too tight. But of course, only a doctor will be able to say if he needs this procedure done.  Since I am not a doctor, I cannot tell you what to do.
