I'm No Hustler, Castagna Says
SPOKANE, WA -- Cody Castagna, the man that
said he slept with Republican State Representative Richard Curtis for
$1000, held a press conference Friday trying to clear his name from what
he says is false accusations that he is a male prostitute.
Washington state police are investigating Castagna after Curtis claimed
Castagna was attempting to extort money from him. Castagna held the
press conference to refute claims that he was associated with convicted
Spokane madam Cheryl Larson.
Surveillance footage from Northern Quest
Casino, where Larson operated her service and laundered money from,
supposedly showed Castagna meeting with Larson,
kxly.com reports.
Castagna denied ever having met the madam and said the video shows him
meeting with his mother at the casino. He also said the encounter with
Curtis was the first time he ever had sex for money and repeatedly
claimed not to be a male escort. Castagna added that he wasn't out to
ruin anyone's life but that he was just trying to clear his own name.
