We reported last month that gay actress Portia de Rossi signed on for her first lesbian role in the upcoming season of the hit plastic surgery drama 'Nip/Tuck.' Now the first scenes have been shot and details are leaking out to media.

Portia de Rossi, 34, who's been happily and openly involved with Ellen DeGeneres for several years now, is having a steamy lesbian affair with Britsh actress Joely Richardson on the frequently gay-inclusive TV show.

The pair's scenes are supposedly so explicit that even crew members used to the series' frequent sexual storylines have been shocked.

"Portia's character is going to be involved in a torrid relationship with Joely's character over about 10 episodes," an insider reveals.

"It's going to be shocking stuff. So far, the pair's sex scenes have been wild. Even the crew have been shocked by what they have seen."
