Washington to Appear on "Larry King Live"
Monday
Former "Grey's Anatomy" star Isaiah
Washington, 43, is continuing what some people say is a misguided effort
to clean his name with a hour-long appearance on "Larry King Live"
Monday night on CNN.
"Everything is fair game," said Washington's publicist, Howard Bragman.
"We didn't set any ground rules with Larry."
Tonight's
appearance is the fourth interview Washington has conducted in the last
three weeks, NY Post reports.
"What a lot of people don't know is that Isaiah was gagged by ABC,"
Bragman said. "That's one reason he can [now] do these interviews."
The publicist said the interviews are aimed at changing the public's
perception of Washington.
ABC fired Washington from "Grey's Anatomy" last month after he had been
creating tention on the set for a long time. Among other things,
Washington called co-star T.R. Knight a "faggot" during a physical
confrontation with co-star Patrick Dempsey. T.R. Knight came out of the
closet following the incident.
In an Interview with the Houston Chronicle last week, Washington said
T.R. Knight was the one that should have been fired for blowing the
whole incident out of proportion. |
