Larry Birkhead is the Father of Anna Nicole's Daughter

NASSAU, BAHAMAS -- DNA results shows that Larry Birkhead is the father of Dannielynn Smith, late model/playmate/reality star Anna Nicole's daughter. The former paparazzi told reporters Tuesday that he expects to take his daughter with him home soon.

The DNA analysis was performed by Dr. Michael Baird, who announced the results outside court. "Essentially, he’s the biological father," Baird said about Larry Birkhead.

"I told you so!" Birkhead cheered in front of reporters that had gathered outside the court house in Nassau, Bahamas. "My baby’s going to be coming home pretty soon," he continued.

The hearing did not resolve who would get the custody of Dannielynn, but Anna's longtime friend and lawyer (and eventually lover) Howard K. Stern said he would not not fight for custody.

"I’m obviously very disappointed but my feelings toward Dannielynn have not changed," Stern said, adding Birkhead can come to his Bahamas home to visit Dannielynn at any time.

Anna Nicole's estranged mother, Virgie Arthur, said, "I’m happy that Dannielynn will know who her real father is.".
