Gruesome Gay Murder In New York
NEW YORK CITY, NY -- A gay New York man was
found in the basement of his home Sunday, bound and brutally beaten to
death. The victim, 57 year old John Canora, was found by a relative who
had been unable to reach Canora for two weeks.
The relative went to Canora's home and discovered signs of a violent
struggle and a blood trail leading from the first floor to the basement.
There she found Canora wrapped in a blanket and stuffed into a corner.
Cops suspect robbery was the initial motive, and the victim's car is
missing. An unnamed police source told the NY Post that it appeared to
have been a planned robbery that used sex as a way to gain access to the
house. There was no sign of forced entry.
About two weeks ago, cops stopped someone driving Canora's car, but let
him go after they couldn't reach the victim, a source said.
