Timberlake Gives Bass His Support

NEW YORK, NY -- In an interview on MTV's Total Request Live Justin Timberlake claimed that he did not know that Lance Bass was coming out of the closet, and that he was surprised, but proud, that his former 'N SYNC band mate had come out.

When asked about how he felt about his friend revealing such a personal matter to the world, Timberlake said: "I'm proud of him. I support him. He's one of my best friends in the world."
