Michael's Lover: Wedding's Off
LONDON, UK -- According to Britain's Daily Mail
newspaper, George Michael's long-term partner Kenny Goss has called off
their wedding. The couple was planning to show their commitment to each
other with a civil partnership on their tenth anniversary, which
happens later this year.
Apparently, Kenny Goss wasn't to happy about his partner's little outdoor
adventure with a pot-bellied, jobless van driver in London's Hampstead
Heath park last week.
A source told the newspaper: "They are reassessing their relationship at
the moment so there are no immediate plans. Things are very much up in the
air. They do not feel that the wedding is relevant now."
Even though sex in public places is illegal in most cases in the UK,
British police has no plans to investigate the matter since the singer was
not caught by an officer and no complaints were made.
Michael has insisted in the past that he and Goss have an open
relationship. "Gay relationships are a bit different. I'm sure we'll be
allowed to roam if we want to. But we love each other dearly," Michael
said in an interview.
