Sir Ian McKellen is Top Gay

LONDON, UK -- Sir Ian McKellen has been named Britain's most influential gay person, topping a list of the 100 most influential gay men and lesbians in Britain to mark the end of EuroPride in London yesterday.

The list celebrates contributions from entertainers, activists, politicians and business people who are out and proud. Last year Elton John topped the list but he was knocked down to second place this year.
