Dallas Killings Make Gays Nervous
DALLAS, TX -- With the killing of two gay men just the
last week, the Dallas gay community is concerned about their safety. At
least ten gay men has been killed in Dallas over the last two years, but
only two arrests have been made.
The Dallas police do not believe there are any connections between the
killings, except for the fact that the victims are gay, and that there
were no apparent signs of break-in at the time of the crime at any of the
murder scenes.
The latest murder was of Frank Gonzales, 43, who was found in his
apartment on Monday after being reported missing by some of his friends.
An autopsy showed that he had been stabbed and possibly strangled.
Just two days earlier, police found the body of Gary Hashaway in his
apartment. Hashaway had also been strangled.
