Gay Hustler Runs For TX Legislature
DALLAS, TX -- Tom Malin, who is running for the state
legislature in Texas, admits that he used to be a male prostitute after
the Dallas Morning News ran a story on him in the Friday edition of the
newspaper.
Dallas Morning News reported that they had found records on Malin
advertising himself on a gay hustler site under the alias "Todd Sharpe."
According to the ad he was available in New York City and Los Angeles,
charging from $200 to $600 for his services.
In a comment to the story, Malin stated that: "I've made mistakes in my
life, and I've stood before my Creator and I've accepted responsibility
for my behavior. I've also accepted his grace and his redemption and his
love and his forgiveness, and that's what important."
"I don't regret my past, nor do I wish to shut the door on my past," he
told the News. "I think anyone who has made mistakes in their lives can be
a viable member of community and society."
Malin has refused demands from some other Democrats to quit his campaign
for the Texas legislature.
