Gay Activist Unveils Hillary Now Campaign
CONCORD -- A grass roots group led by South Florida gay
rights activist Bob Kunst is releasing a TV campaign in support of New
York Sen. Hillary Clinton for president.
The group, Hillary Now!, hopes to lay the foundation for Clinton's
possible bid for the presidency in 2008.
Clinton has repeatedly said she is solely focusing on her re-election to
the Senate next year and has denied to comment on speculations that she
will be a contender in the run for the presidency in 2008.
The commercial shows and animation where Hilary Clinton drives a garbage
truck labeled "Bush's Mess." Clinton empties trash cans labeled "Iraq,"
"War on Terror," "Health Care" and "Budget" while President Bush is hiding
on the White House lawn.
The ads will run late at night in a limited number of cable news networks
in Manchester, Portsmouth, Concord, Nashua and Salem. [Back to News Headlines]
