| Gay & Lesbian Art: deChambs
deChambs had early success, as a painter, in New York City and
Vermont. His painting became a part time occupation as he
pursued a successful career as a fashion designer in New York
City.
During that period, he also designed stage sets and costumes and
created three dimensional, miniature collages. He was also a
guest lecturer in fashion illustration and owned an art gallery.
Leaving the Fashion design business, he moved to Honolulu and
returned, full time, to his first love - Painting.
